Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Philadelphia, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 12 PMβ12 AM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I was just here today for the first time with my mom and husband. My mom and I are Korean. This restaurant is fine, but it is far from authentic. The food is edible but there was nothing remarkable about anything we ordered - we got 3 orders of the thinly sliced beef brisket, kimchi stew and seafood pajeon - all mediocre at best (including the ban chan). That said, we were prepared to simply write it all off as it not being really our ~style~ bc we prefer a much more authentic experience, and we understand that there are different kinds of Korean bbq experiences. What pushed us over the edge was what happened in the end. My mom paid the bill in cash. Our waitress (who might be the owner), walked back to our table while counting the cash and said to my mom in Korean: βthis canβt possibly be what youβre paying including tip.β My mom had the tip separately set aside to put in the tray once she came back with change. She explained this to the waitress and she simply walked away without acknowledging the validity of this explanation nor did she apologize for being rude for making a quick assumption that we were not going to leave a tip. I will never come back here again, nor will I

β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ Ok, first things first, the service was outstanding. It was my first time experiencing a true Korean BBQ, and the staff made it unforgettable. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. Even though it was a bit busy, they consistently checked on us, helped with the meat preparation, and made sure we had everything we needed, from water to banchan. The atmosphere was just as impressive: a great space, amazing vibe, and perfect lighting that really elevated the whole experience. Iβll definitely be coming back. If youβre looking for an authentic Korean BBQ experience, this is the place to go. I canβt recommend it enough the food was absolutely amazing.

We were looking for korean bbq and decided to stop by here for dinner and we are very happy we did. The food was amazing, staff was very friendly and offered a lot of different recommendations to ensure we had the best experience possible. The price point may be a little high but it is worth every penny and you will not leave disappointed. Don't be afraid to experiment with the menu.

I love the space: very modern, attractive, very clean! Paid lot right next door - on Sunday it was only $10. The ventilation was great and we didn't smell like bbq after! The service was wonderful, but we went when it was pretty empty. We got seasoned kalbee and it was very tender, but I thought a bit bland. I thought the dipping sesame oil and ssamjang were also bland. The salad was delicious, and other items were good. Their menu had a good variety. Definitely worth going.

Mr Pig was better than I expected. The store was spacious and the quality of the grilled meat was excellent. The only minor drawback was that the egg liquid had a slightly fishy smell. If this store were located in Chinatown, I'm convinced its business would be much better. This shows the importance of a store's location. 12/28/2025
